Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We just got back from our beach vacation. I wanted to share some essentials for the beach that I thought were great to have. When packing for the beach there are 5 must have items in my opinion.
A comfortable swimsuit is best to have. I love the look of one pieces lately. I love this leopard one piece. If you are a little bustier I would size up. I also am a huge fan of this brand for swimsuits. They are very well made in my opinion and after washing still look really good. If leopard isn’t your style I love this classic black suit from the same brand.
A sturdy beach bag you don’t mind carrying. I picked up this one and love how it can be monogrammed. One thing with a beach bag that I have found works best is if it has a zipper that way all your stuff doesn’t fall out in the sand. Also with these beach bags they also come in a variety of sizes and either a short or long handle. I chose the medium long handle so I am able to carry it on my shoulder and it is not to big.
A beach towel is an essential for the beach. I was gifted the Tesalate beach towel and while it may be a higher price point. I believe the quality is top notch. One of the key features of the teselate towels are they are sand free towels. I even tested it out on the beach and it got very little sand and you were able to shake it off. Which in my opinion is worth the higher price point. Plus it also comes with a bag and they dry a lot quicker than your standard beach towel. The beach towel also comes in a bunch of colors. I chose the Bora Bora in Navy.
I have found that protective sunglasses are a must for the hot sun on the beach. I love a classic pair of tortoise ones. Mine are older but here is similar pair of polarized ones. If polarized ones aren’t your favorite, this pair is under $60.
I love the look of a beach hat with a swim suit for the beach or pool. It also is a plus because it protects you from the sun. I picked up this one and I absolutely love it. This beach hat is currently 30% off with code HBDUSA. It also has held up nicely and was easy to pack in my suitcase. It could also be worn with a sundress during the day.
I hope this help with your packing list if you are headed to the beach.
