Shop my Girls Nursery Board Inspiration:
This weekend I was able to work on the nursery. When I found out we were having a girl I knew my main colors for the nursery would be blush and grey. It is such a pretty color combination in my opinion. The first items that I had picked out for an inspiration for the room are these gorgeous grey and ivory pom pom curtains. For my inspiration I also wanted a striped chair. We chose this black and ivory one. I also knew I wanted white furniture so I picked up a white crib and white dresser.
Another thing I knew I wanted was to accent with wood baskets. I was able to find a super cute bear animal basket from Homegoods but found a super similar one that is a fox. I fell in love with these grey, white, and ivory pom pom baskets. Sadly they are sold out but also come in pink pom pom. One thing that took me the longest time to find the perfect one was a rug. We decided on this blush and grey ivory rug. I love how it pulls the design together.
Other accents that I am wanting to add to the white book shelf is a wooden letter, balloon animal, and some type of fun book end. I found these unicorn bookends, and I think it may add a nice touch to the room but I will have to see. For bigger items I still need to purchase a side table, mirror, and painting for above the crib. For my design inspiration I am wanting a gold side table and gold mirror. In regards to art work I am still undecided I love the look of this rainbow painting with the blush rug. However, I love this watercolor elephant animal painting as well. I am also in search of a pouf. I would like a grey, cream or blush one.
It has been so much fun putting this room together. I can’t wait to see the final product. It is definitely something I have enjoyed doing during the quarantine.
