Today I wanted to share with you all my 5 minute beauty routine. In all reality once baby girl comes that will probably be all the time I will have to put on make up. My routine is pretty simple. Which my skin in dry. So most of the products I use are hydrating
First off I start I cleanse my face. I have been using the Tata Harper Regenerating Exfoliating Cleanser since December and I absolutely love it. It is a little more pricier but I have found that I don’t use that much, so it is worth it to me. I also love that it is clean beauty as well. Once I cleanse my face I apply a face primer. One of my go to’s is Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water. I love how refreshed it makes your skin feel. You can also pick up a travel size for $15 to try out. Now for foundation I have a couple of ones that I use. When I am rushing out the door I use my Bobbi Brown foundation stick. It is quick and easy and gives your face a nice finish. I use the color Warm Beige. If I have a little more time to do my make up or have a photo shoot I will use Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. It gives my face a nice glow and is full coverage. I am in the shade Cool Bone 1C1. I use both of these foundations with a beauty blender.
Next up I use concealer. I have been using the same concealer, Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion for years and highly recommend it. It brightens the under eye so well and gives great coverage. Another Laura Mercier product that is one of my holy grail item is the translucent powder a little under my eye with a foundation brush. After I have set my under eye then I put on blush. I have a couple of blushes that I use. First up is NARS Orgasm which is a really pretty coral. Second one that I also use is Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Paaarty-Nude. It is a very neutral color that gives my cheeks a natural flush. I also add a little bit of bronzer. I have always used the Bare Minerals in warmth.
If I have a shoot or want to have a more dramatic eye I will add my favorite drug store find which is Loreal Paris Voluminous Mascara primer and then add IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara. This mascara makes your lashes look so much fuller. If I just want to just have a little mascara I will put on my favorite drug store one Loreal Paris Voluminous Mascara. My two favorite eye shadow palettes are Urban Decay Born to Run Eyeshadow palette, and Urban Decay Naked Palette. I love that each of them have a mix of browns, and brighter colors. Urban Decay Naked Palette is the one I use the most. After I finished my eyes I move on to my eye brows. For eyebrows the quickest and easiest I have found is the Benefit Gimme Brow. If you haven’t tried this product I highly recommend you do. I am in the color 3. It makes my eyebrows fuller. One thing I struggle with is my eyebrows are pretty thin. You can also try it in the travel size first. Which I really like the smaller size for travel. Finally I add some Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray to set my look. For lipstick I love my drug store lip color that I rave about. It is the Maybelline Superstar 24 hour lip color. One of my go to everyday colors is Timeless Rose. The Buxom Lip plumping lip gloss is also a great everyday lip color, I use the color Zoe.
With the sale I wanted to share the products I have been eyeing and wanting to try out. I have been wanting to try the MILK product line. I have heard amazing reviews of their bronzer and lip+ cheek products. Another item I have been eager to try is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless filter. I also wanted to try the Tarte Tartelette eyeshadow palette. I love the pretty pinks and browns of this palette.
