My gender reveal was this past February but I realized I never shared it with you all. We just had a gathering with close family. Most of my decorations are from Target and Hobby Lobby. Both Target and Hobby Lobby have great party sections for Baby Showers. For my reveal I decided to do a cake. The cake was made by a local Louisville bakery, Plehns Bakery. Which I ended up giving the envelope with the gender to the bakery, and then picked up it up a week later. If you are local highly recommend it was absolutely delicious.
Another great place to find party decor is Etsy. My cake topper is from Etsy shop, Pretty Cute Cuts. My baby boy or baby girl sign was also from Etsy as well, JSBannerDesigns. I highly recommend both of these Etsy shops.
In regards to my pink and blue balloons I went to a local party store around here. I was pleasantly surprised how many places had balloons that said baby boy or baby girl. I recommend calling the store first to see if they have them. I also got them filled with helium the night before. You could do it day of I just wanted to have everything ready the morning before the party.
For food we decided to just grill out with burgers and chicken. For The desserts I found pink and blue iced cookies at Kroger. The drinks were the easiest. I got regular lemonade and added a couple drops of blue food coloring, and then got pink lemonade. My pitchers were a wedding gift but found these to be similar.
Now on to my outfit. I knew I wanted something with pink and blue. I chose this cute pink and blue fringe sweater from Loft, with my favorite maternity jeans, blush loafers, and a pearl headband with heart earrings.
